SmallRig 5599 HawkLock Cage Kit for Sony A 7R V / 7 IV / 7S III / 1 / 7R IV Advanced Edition Both the side and top handle feature SmallRig’s patented HawkLock quick release system, allowing for rapid slide-in auto-locking attachment, which significantly improves handheld stability.
In addition, the side handle supports one-touch 360° stepless rotation for flexible shooting angles.
A two-point locking mechanism ensures a secure, anti-twist cage attachment without the need to remove the camera’s eyelet triangles.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a HawkLock NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as monitor mounts and HawkLock handles.
A built-in cold shoe mount accommodates devices like the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD socket at the base allows for shoulder strap attachment.
The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench for quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick release plate, paired with the HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate, enables rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism.
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows for seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro).
A hinged door at the battery compartment adds grip support for the little finger, while the included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable for stable data transmission.
Note:- This cage is compatible with the HDMI cable clamps included in SmallRig cage kits (4538, 4539) but is not compatible with the HDMI cable clamps from cage kits (3668B, 3669C).
