The female connector can be fastened using two screws to cages or L-shaped mount plates with standard 1/4"-20 threaded holes. 
When paired with a cage or L-shaped mount plate, it allows flexible repositioning of the USB-C port to prevent accidental disconnections.
Compatibility:

• Supports USB3.2 Gen 2x2, 3.1, 3.0, and 2.0 standards
• Compatible with USB PD 3.1, backward compatible with PD 3.0 / 2.0
