SmallRig 5587 Cage for Sony FX2 The detachable top plate features a NATO rail, accommodating Sony’s XLR top handle or SmallRig’s rotating top handle (4152) without interfering with the EVF. The cage incorporates multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a “HawkLock” NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles and top handles. A cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly. The bottom quick release plate, paired with the “HawkLock” H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (4486), allows for rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate also enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers).
