SDI audio de-embedder
S-4609 is a portable mini converter of SDI audio de-embedder, supports up to 3Gb/s SDI, and can be widely used in broadcast field production and professional audio/video conversion and transmission.
Input and Output
S-4609 provides: 1x 3G/HD/SD-SDI input 2x 3G/HD/SD-SDI loop output (Reclocked) 1x AES/EBU digital audio output (2-ch) 2x 6.35mm analog audio output (balanced) (If both AES/EBU audio and analog audio is connected, only AES/EBU audio outputs)
De-embed Channel Selection
By 6 switchers S-4609 can de-embeded any 2-ch audio from SDI first 8-ch embedded audios. User can select the channel number to be de-embedded by the 6 switchers on the front panel of the product. And on the rear side, S-4609 provides the description of the 6 switchers for reference.
Status Indicators
Power / SDI input / De-embed S-4609 provides 3 LED indictors, to check if the power is connected, if the SDI input is recognized, and if de-embedded audio is deliver
Power Supply
Pole-tap DC input The mini converter is powered by pole-tap DC socket. The package includes an AC-DC power adaptor, and you can also connect DC cable from 6-18V batteries.
Heavy Duty Housing
The S-4609 mini converter adopts unibody aluminium alloy housing, strong for field using and protects the audio/video connectors effectively.
Installation
S-4609 provides the bottom 1/4-inch screw threads for fixing on cameras, and an installing plate is supplied in the package, for fixing on wall and binding the BNC/audio cables.
