The camera uses a 5x optical zoom lens, starting at a wide-angle 3mm (85° angle-of-view) through to 15.5mm (16° angle-of-view). With the choice of three video outputs – USB 3.0 (Type C), HDMI & IP/Ethernet (H.264 & H.265) – CV605-U3 can be used with a variety of use-cases and workflows. The USB-C connector allows the camera to interface directly with computers, enabling uses including video calls & meetings, as well as for streaming with popular software including OBS and vMix. The camera also features an RJ45 ethernet connector, allowing a single cable to send video and audio, control with Visca over IP, as well as being able to power the camera with PoE. Signals are encoded with either H.264 or H.265 and can be decoded with any existing IP networked solution. Marshall’s straightforward design and ease-of-use make this camera an affordable camera for a wide variety of broadcast and professional AV applications.
