Do I need to run power into both UBS-C ports?
No. In fact, you can run the DQC2 off just 1 USB-C port if you want. It will reduce the charging capacity and take longer to charge your batteries.
Will the DQC2 charge batteries from other brands?
The DQC2 will charge any 2054-style smart battery that supports the SMBus v1.1 interface.
