Boris FX Optics is a professional photo effects toolkit that brings Hollywood‑grade cinematic looks to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, or works as a standalone application. With over 160 effects, thousands of presets, and AI‑powered masking, Optics transforms still images into striking cinematic visuals—fast and fully customizable.
Boris FX Optics is designed for photographers, digital artists, and creators who want cinematic image styling without complex compositing pipelines. Built on the same technology used in film and television VFX, Optics delivers professional‑quality results in a photo‑centric workflow.
Its layer‑based architecture allows multiple effects to be stacked, adjusted, and masked independently. Mask ML, Optics’ AI‑driven selection technology, intelligently isolates subjects, enabling precise, selective effects in seconds.
Optics includes authentic film stock emulations, cinematic lens flares, glows, light leaks, particle effects, and extensive stylization tools. Users can run Optics directly inside Photoshop or Lightroom, or launch it as a standalone app for fast batch processing.
